Payment VISA

From the 6th June 2022 to 31st December 2023 Visa card holders from countries outside the EEA (European Economic Area) will have to go to the participating El Corte Inglés International Office (Castellana in Madrid, Puerto Banús in Marbella, Diagonal in Barcelona, and Lisbon in Portugal) to request their Gift of VIP Welcome, which includes a Reward Card (reward card) that accumulates 10% of your purchases + VIP Tapa & Copa bonus. Visa Cardholders must present information about the promotion received from their bank at the International Counter.

The Visa Cardholder may use the 10% Rewards Card for any purchase at Select Property Stores. The Reward Card accumulates a 10% balance for the following purchases at any El Corte Inglés store in Spain (when accumulated in Spain) or Portugal (when accumulated in Portugal)

The VIP Tapa & Copa voucher will be given to Visa Card Holders who spend a minimum of €150.00 on a single purchase with a Visa Card at participating El Corte Inglés stores (described above). When visiting the restaurant/cafeteria/Gourmet area, the Visa Cardholder must present the VIP Welcome Gift voucher that was given at the beginning of the purchase and the Visa payment vouchers (to be verified by the maître d’).

The VIP Personal Shopper Experience will be granted to Visa Card Holders who spend a minimum of €300.00 on a single purchase with a Visa Card at participating El Corte Inglés. When visiting the Personal Shopper section, Visa Card Holders will present their Visa Bank Card along with proof of payment (which must be verified by the clerk) after booking that service at least 72 hours in advance (see contact details below).

CONDITIONS of the Reward Card:

• Accumulate 10% of the value of your purchases and immediately upon accumulation redeem the balance on subsequent purchases at El Corte Inglés stores.
• The card is valid for 5 days from the first purchase and can be used exclusively in El Corte Inglés stores.
• Valid only for non-resident foreign visitors over 18 years of age. It is mandatory to present a photo ID.
• A maximum of 5 cards will be issued per year (calendar year) per identity document.
• Stored value cannot be redeemed for cash.
• This card is personal and non-transferable and by using it you accept these terms and conditions.

Exceptions for reward card promotion

Visa Card Holders must consult the brands included in the Prize Card Promotion at the International Counter of El Corte Inglés. The following companies and services of the El Corte Inglés Group are not included: Supermarket, Pharmacy, Gourmet Experience, Home Textiles, Furniture, Books, Strollers, Cots, Electronics, Hipercor, Supercor, Bricor, Cafeteria, Restaurant, Viajes El Corte Inglés, Parking, Gift Card, Telephone Recharges, Personal Shopper, Installation and Assembly, Hairdresser, Post Office, and Currency Exchange.

CONDITIONS of the VIP Tapa & Cup bonus:

1 Tapa & Copa voucher per Visa holder, for purchases over 150.00 euros with your Visa Card at participating El Corte Inglés stores. The Client must present the Visa payment voucher(s) and (iii) the VIP Welcome Gift voucher to the maître d’ in the cafeteria/restaurant (i).

CONDITIONS for the Personal Shopper experience:

– 1 Personal Shopper Experience per Visa holder, in purchases over 300.00 euros with your Visa Card at El Corte Inglés Castellana in Madrid, Puerto Banús in Marbella, Diagonal in Barcelona and Loja Lisboa in Portugal. Subject to availability.
